Custom Brass, Bullets and Dies
I've had a love/hate thing for years with revolvers.

They aggravate me something fierce - the source of my aggravation is almost always
undersized cylinder throats.

The last Blackhawk I purchased, in 45 LC/45 ACP has cylinder throats that measure
.4495. Three thousands of an inch less that the lead bullets I try to shoot through it.
Two and a half thousandths less than the jacketed bullets I try to shoot through it.

So when the projectile enters the throat, they get swaged to LESS than the groove
diameter of the barrel. Poor accuracy, heavy leading with cast bullets, etc. are the
result.

Enter the throating reamer.

These little dandies open your cylinder throats up to an appropriate dimension for
your intended projectiles.

.358 for 38 Special, 357 Magnum, 357 Maximum, etc. (tooling on order)

.4525" for 45 Colt, 454 Casull, 45 ACP, etc.

.431" for 44 Special, 44 Magnum, 445 Supermag, etc.

The service is $25, for a six chamber cylinder - $20 for a fix chamber cylinder, and
$30 for more than six chambers.

Typically the service can be completed in just a couple of days.

Shipping is however you'd like it - I'd recommend sending (and receiving) it insured
for not less than $200. Figure out what you spent sending it to me, and add it to my
labor fee.

Pick up and drop off service is available, within reason, in Indy, Evansville and NE
Indiana.

Here's a Vaquero cylinder in 45 Colt I just completed - you can see the fresh throats
as compared to the rest of the chamber.
